So your buddy proposed to that special girl,
gave her an
engagement ring and is now getting married. You are the
groomsmen. The unspoken hero? Now comes the anxiety. Will he
go through with it? It is your job to now see that he does.
Groomsmen do a lot more than just show up in a
tux for the wedding. You are the groom close friends. Giving him
support throughout the wedding planning process. Helping him get
over the prewedding jitters, helping him through out that one
special day.
Now once the wedding is over you will be
needed at the reception too. You should be introduced with the
bridesmaid you escorted during the recessional. You may also be
asked to dance with bridesmaids or single female guests during the
evening.
Once it is all over, you, the groomsmen have
done your job. Your buddy is married, off to his honeymoon.
Hopefully once he gets back you two will still be able to do things
together and hang out. (hopefully you made friends with his new
wife)
